The film tells the story of a poor young man who falls in love with a girl who dreams of becoming rich. Halit Usta is a foreman at Turgut Bey's factory. He lives in a poor neighborhood with his daughter Fatma. He has raised his daughter on his own. Murat has been in love with her for a long time. But he has not been able to tell her. Meanwhile, Fatma desires to marry a wealthy man. Her father's boss, Turgut Bey, convinces her that her dream will come true. Turgut has seen Fatma and likes her.
