"Robert Spencer is having an affair with his wife's friend Hilda. When a man approaches Hilda, proclaiming his love for Robert's wife Claire, Hilda tries to matchmake. All four end up together in Venice, the amorous Michael disguised as an Austrian lady's maid to Claire.
